HOW TO CREATE A REALISTIC PLANET EARTH.
1. Open 3ds max.Create a sphere of radius 40.

Way to put for clouds material
If you render now you can see your earth like this.
Now select perspective viewport and make a camera there .
You can animate your earth. Click Autokey to ON it
Now select your cloud. Move the slider to the last frame. Rotate the cloud about 6 degrees.
To add stars open video post from render menu. Click this button
.A dialog box appears. In view rollout select camera from the dropdown list. Click O.K
4. Now click this button
.In the dialog box select Starfield from the dropdown list. Then click setup. In source camera rollout select your camera.
5. Click this button
and click files in the dialog box. Select .avi format put a name and define a place where you want to put your animation.
6. Click this button
to render select the output size you need then click Render.
Your earth is ready.
2. Clone the sphere and name the new sphere as “cloud”. Make it slightly big as shown below.
3. Open material editor. Put materials as below
